Job Summary
The Communication & Learning Coordinator plays a dual role in shaping the KEEN employee experience by supporting both Learning & Development (L&D) programs and Culture & Communications (C&C) initiatives. This position provides high-quality coordination, logistics, and communication support to ensure employees are engaged, connected, and continuously developing. Working closely with the Learning & Development and the Culture & Communications teams, the Coordinator manages program logistics, creates and maintains content, and curates resources that reflect KEEN’s culture of growth, recognition, and belonging.
This role is based in Portland and requires a regular presence at our global headquarters (minimum four days per week).

Base Salary: $25.31 - $28.13/hr
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location. - Coordinates logistics, scheduling, communications, and resources to ensure programs, events, and initiatives run smoothly.
- Prepares, edits, and maintains content (learning materials, communications, intranet posts, templates, slide decks) that reflect KEEN’s culture, brand standards, and employee experience goals.
- Maintains Campfire intranet content, calendars, and resources with consistent formatting, accessibility, and alignment to brand guidelines.
- Collects feedback and engagement metrics to evaluate effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
- Works with stakeholders and business units to ensure timely updates, alignment, and communication of priorities.
- Coordinates logistics for L&D programs, including marketing, participant tracking, and reporting on assignments and metrics.
- Prepares and distributes learning resources such as playbooks, handouts, catalogs, and other program materials.
- Assists with recognition and learning-related initiatives (e.g., Learner of the Month, development campaigns).
- Provides event coordination and producer support for in-person learning events and on-line learning sessions.
- Drafts, edits, and publishes employee-facing communications, including announcements, recognition spotlights, and cultural features.
- Provides communications support for company-wide meetings and events (e.g., Business & Bagels, Global Gatherings), including scripts, slides, and post-event recaps.
- Uses templates and guides to help maintain style guides, templates, and best practices to streamline communication processes.
- Assists with research and shares ideas for communication formats, tools, or features to enhance employee engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Education, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- One (1) year of experience in learning & development, communications, marketing, or HR support.
- Familiarity with intranet/content management systems, digital publishing, and analytics.
- Experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or training coordination strongly preferred.
- Writing portfolio and examples of communications or design work a plus.
- Proficient in writing, editing, and storytelling skills; strong eye for clarity, brand voice, and detail.
- Demonstrated ability with MS Office Suite and publishing tools; familiarity with Canva, Igloo (or other intranet platforms), Adobe Creative Suite basics preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines.
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and metrics tracking.
- Ability to balance competing priorities with flexibility and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, customer-service mindset with strong interpersonal and consulting skills.
- Creative, curious, and proactive in finding ways to improve both processes and employee engagement.
