The Trainer Associate will assign and monitor training completion for all OptumServe customers to ensure medical services are in compliance with current federal regulations and meet contract requirements. This includes initial training, ongoing compliance training, periodic retraining, and corrective action retraining.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assign appropriate training codes to provider contacts and practitioners
- Assign and monitor completion of initial and compliance training in customer external platform and update in our internal system for tracking training compliance
- Complete and monitor training re-certification and compliance reports
- Determine need for corrective training based on analysis of check-listing reports per contract supported by network provider as well as via issues identified by interdepartmental communications; route tasks to Clinical Trainer personnel for follow-up as appropriate
- Complete training reminders to practitioners telephonically and/or electronically in regard to: examinee and provider responsibilities, electronic document completion, service requirements and Provider Portal navigation
- Staff the VA phone queues for VBA contract. Assist with all non-clinical questions, training completion and portal navigation. Escalate calls regarding clinical issues/concerns or complex issues to Clinical Trainers. Monitor department training compliance reports and assign follow-up when appropriate
- Develop and maintain a general understanding of all OptumServe customers, clinical services, and contract requirements
- Utilizing solid customer service skill sets, identify examiner process and technical issues. Determine potential resolution and proper escalation points within the business structure
- Complete system - related tasks and department projects as defined by the VSPET leadership team
- Develop and maintain a general understanding of VA customers, clinical services, and contract requirements
Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an office setting - customer service; administrative support; training support
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook email
- Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills, including customer service skills
- Proven ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
- NIOSH Spirometry Certification
- National Career Readiness Certificate
- Military experience
- Knowledge/experience with adult learning principles
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
