Leader Functions (Responsibilities)

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of supply chain professionals to enable organizational growth and performance.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and foster employee development through goal setting, delegation, feedback, and performance management.
  • Recruit, retain, and cultivate talent while promoting an inclusive and development-focused team culture.
  • Maintain transparent communication and provide consistent oversight through structured meetings and interpersonal engagement.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities)

  • Define revenue projections and guide cross-functional teams to achieve financial and operational targets.
  • Develop and manage the Master Production Plan and firm production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of all clinical and commercial GMP products.
  • Oversee purchasing, production planning, warehousing, and inventory control to balance service requirements with resource availability.
  • Lead capacity planning for warehouse space, production capabilities, and workforce needs across mid- and long-term horizons.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Project Management and Business Development, to align production schedules and client expectations.
  • Monitor On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) performance, identify trends and risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity.
  • Actively participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align cross-functional efforts and ensure delivery of business objectives.
  • Ensure raw material availability to support production schedules and meet client expectations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply continuity, ensuring proactive assessments and contingency planning.

Education

What you will bring to the role

Minimum Required: Bachelor’s in supply chain, engineering or related discipline.

Preferred: MBA

Experience

Required: 12 plus years in a Supply Chain/Operations experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Required People Management: 6 plus years
