What Your Responsibilities Will Be In Medical Triage

  • Providing pathology results and Prior authorizations as allowed
  • Respond within 24 hours to messages sent through multiple message channels
  • Send applicable prescriptions
  • Handle medication and prior authorization electronic faxes for multiple providers
  • Accurately filling out prior authorization request forms and documenting charts with updates
  • Ensure that patient medical records are up-to-date in accordance with regulatory and compliance policies
  • Schedule general, cosmetic, and surgical appointments for multiple providers
  • Recognizing, documenting, and informing the Supervisor regarding the trends in internal and external calls
  • Mailing of Certified Letters for non-compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service to all patients
  • Cross trained in Customer service (Call Center) call types & functions
  • Complete a clinical rotation as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What we look for:

  • Medical Assistant experience (1 year min.)
  • Call Center or Medical Scheduling experience
  • Strong Customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Clean and presentable appearance
  • Team focused and is able to follow detailed instructions carefully with limited oversight
  • Organized, punctual and professional
  • Eager to grow and learn with the company
  • Fluency in computer systems and a variety of software packages
  • Medical Terminology experience
  • Dedicated to patients and personable customer service
  • Passionate about the field of Dermatology
