Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)

Location: Lakeland, FL

Facility: Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring adherence to all regulations and guidelines.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing policies and procedures to align with the best practices.
• Participate in the facility’s quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Assist with facility surveys and inspections conducted by authorized agencies.
• Perform daily rounds to monitor staff performance and care quality.
• Address and resolve staff complaints and grievances professionally and promptly.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long Term Care with managerial responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage nursing operations effectively.
