Prepared Foods/Deli Clerk

What You'll Do

• Provide outstanding customer service at the deli counter and self-service food areas
• Prepare made-to-order sandwiches and portion housemade deli sides
• Set up, stock, and maintain the soup and salad bar
• Slice meats and cheeses to customer specifications
• Prep and roast rotisserie chickens
• Wash, cut, and prepare fresh vegetables and ingredients
• Stock housemade grab-and-go foods and ensure displays are full and appealing
• Maintain sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards in all work areas
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Verifiable work experience with reliable attendance and commitment
• Previous kitchen, deli, or food service experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Familiarity with organic and natural foods a plus
• Ability to follow portion guidelines and food safety practices
• Attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform assigned tasks
• Ability to read and speak English and perform basic arithmetic
