About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact through the design, analysis, and implementation of innovative mechanical systems across diverse projects. From concept to completion, you will help ensure our designs are efficient, cost-effective, and seamlessly integrated with other disciplines. This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise, supervisory skills, and creativity to deliver solutions that matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptual Design: Develop mechanical system design concepts aligned with project requirements and industry standards.
• Quality Control: Ensure designs meet client expectations, company standards, and integrate effectively with other MEP systems.
• Site Surveys: Conduct surveys and assessments to evaluate existing conditions and inform system coordination.
• Client Collaboration: Partner with clients, architects, and other engineers to develop tailored solutions.
• Project Management: Assist in managing schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver successful projects.
• Supervision: Guide and oversee junior engineers, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
• Technical Support: Provide timely expertise during all project phases, from design to construction.
• Code Compliance: Ensure systems comply with all applicable codes and regulations.
• Documentation: Prepare and review specifications, drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 7+ years in mechanical engineering, ideally with an MEP consulting firm.
• License: Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: Required.
• Project Management Experience: Preferred.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC design and analysis software (AutoCAD, Revit, Energy Pro, etc.).
• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection (plumbing expertise strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while balancing technical, time, and budgetary requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
