Description

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Cable and Capillary Inventory is responsible for managing and directing all Inventory. The Analyst with analyze and reconcile inventory, as well as enhancing process improvement.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Manage and direct the timely preparation and processing of work orders
  • Recommend the replenishment of inventory as required by production schedules while minimizing inventory and carrying cost.
  • Recommend measurers to continually improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
  • Analyze and resolve work issues
  • Periodically reconcile inventory levels. Investigate and report reasons for discrepancies.
  • Compile information on receipt or disbursement of goods and/or inventory and assist with the computation of inventory balance.
  • Prepare reports of inventory balance, prices, and shortages.

Requirements

EHS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals
  • Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goals
  • Complete, and actively participate in all of the company's EHS training requirements
  • Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with the company insurance policy

Position Requirements

  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-5 years’ ESP experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree
  • Ability to write correspondence as required
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • A combination of the above qualifications will also be considered

Physical/Mental Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace.
  • Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Work Environment

Work environment is typically in an ESP inventory warehouse during normal or extended business hours.
