Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for patients in the telemetry unit. The nurse will monitor and manage patients requiring cardiac monitoring and other telemetry services, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage patient care according to clinical protocols
• Assess patient conditions and respond to changes in status promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatments, and self-care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Arrhythmia course completion
