Position Description

You will serve as an Aircraft Mechanic Leader in the Production Trades Division, Industrial Execution Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will disassemble, assemble, modify, overhaul, prototype, and repair production cell operation of hydraulic, mechanical, and related structural systems.
  • You will remove, assemble, install, test, and adjust oil, fuel, pneumatic, high-pressure bleed air, hydro/electric, and various pneumatically and hydraulically actuated mechanisms and systems.
  • You will install and adjust flight controls, control cables, rods, bell cranks, pulleys and fairleads.
  • You will install tubing, tanks, fuel cells, valves, gauges, controls and supports.
  • You will remove, install, align and rig flight control systems, rotor systems, engines and related parts.
  • You will remove, install, and align various parts of the fuselage and airframe subcomponents and install furnishings, accessories, and cockpit enclosures.
