Position Overview

As our Business Office Manager you will play a key role in managing residents’ benefits, insurance documentation, and financial records. From accounts receivable/payable to resident trust funds, your accuracy and attention to detail will ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with state, federal, and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a cooperative, team-oriented approach across the facility
  • Manage accounts receivable and daily census
  • Verify financial payments (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance)
  • Complete Medicaid billing, follow-ups, and redeterminations
  • Handle patient billing, deposits, and follow-up for private R&B and personal liability
  • Assist residents and families with required paperwork


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience as a Business Office Manager in a long-term care facility strongly preferred
  • Ability to work on-site during regular business hours


Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
