We're currently seeking a Buyer II to join our team and help drive supply chain excellence across our operations. This role offers a chance to contribute directly to the procurement of materials and services that keep our helicopters mission-ready — all while working in a dynamic, fast-paced aerospace environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Buyer II, you'll be responsible for:
- Executing purchase orders based on MRP requirements and project needs
- Managing procurement of raw materials, assemblies, and services
- Handling RFQs, RFPs, supplier communications, and performance tracking
- Supporting invoice and receiving discrepancy resolution
- Participating in cost reduction and supplier development initiatives
Breakdown of Responsibilities
50% – Execute purchase orders
25% – Issue RFQs/RFPs and manage responses
15% – Expedite and update procurement status
10% – Supplier development and cost initiatives
Travel – Less than 5%
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred)
- 2–4 years of purchasing/procurement experience
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (JD Edwards experience a plus)
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and collaborate cross-functionally
- Certifications (CPM, CPSM, or CSM) a plus
