QC Chemist

Pay rate: $38 - $43/hr. 

Industry: Biopharmaceutical 

Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

We are seeking an QC Chemist to support pharmaceutical manufacturing and process development for solid oral dosage forms (tablets/capsules). In this role, you will:

• Support process development, optimization, validation (process, cleaning, packaging) from R&D through commercial launch.


• Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes, investigate issues, and implement CAPAs.


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning) for new product introductions and site transfers.


• Analyze data using statistical tools (JMP, R, PowerBI, Python) to support decision-making and compliance.


• Prepare technical reports and support audits (FDA, MHRA, QA).

Qualifications:

• PhD in Chemistry or MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences with at least 1 year of experience in MS&T or formulation.


• Experience with solid oral dosage processes (granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, packaging).


• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.


• Familiarity with cGMP, process validation, and digital tools (PowerBI, Python, JMP, R).
