As our Research Sales Development Representative, you’ll proactively build relationships with leading academic labs, fueling discoveries that could reshape human health. - Pipeline factory: 60–80 strategic touches/day across email, LinkedIn, and the occasional “professor-friendly” phone call.
- University whisperer: Map grant cycles, core-lab budgets, and IRB timelines so you call before the R01 is awarded.
- Discovery calls: Run 15-min “triage” Zooms to scope sample volume, QC requirements, and upsell paths (data-validation, longitudinal SaaS portal).
- CRM hygiene: Log every methylation-curious postdoc interaction in HubSpot—no petri dish left behind.
- Handoff excellence: Prep rock-solid opportunity briefs for the Account Executive & Scientific Liaison team.
- 25 qualified opportunities/month → 5 converted POs.
- Avg. deal size in pipeline ≥ $7 k of processing services.
- 30 % of booked deals include an add-on validation study or SaaS seat.
- Bachelor’s in biology, biochem, bioinformatics—or you can at least pronounce “imprinting control region” without Googling.
- 0-2 yrs B2B or campus ambassador sales experience; cold-call rejection tolerance is your superpower.

- CRM, Zoom, and email-sequencer savvy (we like HubSpot + Apollo).
