Responsibilities
- Develop and implement infection prevention strategies and protocols.
- Conduct regular infection control audits and risk assessments.
- Monitor and report infection rates and trends to management.
- Participate in outbreak investigations and response planning.
- Educate staff on infection prevention and control best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Develop and maintain infection control policies and procedures.
- Ensure high visibility of infection control activities and results.
- Track and analyze infection prevention performance metrics.
- Stay updated on latest infection prevention research and guidelines.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for improving infection control measures.
- Support professional development in infection prevention field.
- Certified in Infection Control (CIC) or equivalent certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Microbiology, or related field.
- Excellent communication skills for educating staff and reporting to management.
- Ability to conduct thorough infection control audits and risk assessments.
- Minimum 3 years experience in infection prevention or control.
- Proficient in developing and implementing infection control protocols.
- Experience in outbreak investigation and response planning.
- Strong team collaboration skills to ensure compliance with standards.
- Strong analytical skills for tracking infection prevention metrics.
- Familiarity with the latest infection prevention research and guidelines.
- Enjoy a collaborative and engaging on-site work environment in Springdale, AR.
