Job Summary
Excitement and eagerness to learn and apply new technologies in the airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance mission space. Development and application of advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in applying software to solve challenging problems. The entry level position will provide opportunities to work directly with technical peers, chief engineers, systems engineering and program managers within the company.

This job requires the candidate to perform software engineering tasks, inclusive of those identified below, with minimal supervision:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university

Job Summary

Responsibilities
This job requires the candidate to perform software engineering tasks, inclusive of those identified below, with minimal supervision:
- Performs software analysis, design, development, and testing of software products
- Collaborates with software and systems engineers on product through all phases of software development
- Evaluates commercial and free or open-source software (FOSS) technologies that can be utilized within our software products
- Conceptualize and prototype alternate architecture approaches
- Contributes to the creation of briefing material used at customer reviews and technical interchange meetings
- Other related job duties, as assigned
- Zero (0) years to two (2) years of experience in Engineering or Computer Science

Required: Bachelor’s degree in the field of Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university
Skills
- Experience with C, C++, or similar systems programming languages targeting Linux platforms
- A high level of comfort using command line interfaces
- Experience writing shell and/or Python scripts to automate tasks
- An understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnet masking, etc.
- A basic understanding of object-oriented software design principles, distributed computing concepts, and embedded software concepts
- Ability to multi-task in a highly collaborative team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication
