Internship Summary:

The Meyer Marketing Internship will provide experience in a myriad of marketing disciplines, encompassing social media, digital marketing, and print marketing, developing project management, analytical, and communication skills through immersive, hands-on experiences. The internship will support Rachel Ray cookware marketing initiatives. This will involve active participation in strategic media planning, innovative creative execution, and seamless integration across multiple channels. Meyer is seeking a detail-oriented candidate eager to expand their marketing expertise within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Support the Digital Marketing Specialist in developing a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Rachel Ray brand, encompassing media planning, creative ideation, and in-store implementation. 
  • Project management and coordination for marketing activations to support the Rachel Ray brand.
  • Collaborate closely with both Marketing and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. 
  • Support the marketing team by facilitating the creative service briefing process for the development of various marketing materials, web communications, and in-store point-of-purchase displays. 
  • Develop engaging content, execute strategic social media campaigns and undertake daily community management tasks for PotsandPans.com. 
  • Create engaging content tailored for PotsandPans.com, and the Rachel Ray brand. 
  • Assist in coordinating influencer partnerships with the Rachel Ray team by organizing assets and efforts to drive impactful influencer activations.
  • Help in competitive research and analyze data to provide actionable business insights for the team.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Digital Marketing Specialist.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires completion or current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. 
  • Interest in social media, email/SMS, and influencer marketing.
  • Experience in retail, preferably in a consumer goods environment, is a plus.  
  • Must possess a strong working knowledge of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with Meyer employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess organizational and time management skills. 
  • Must have careful proofreading skills to ensure accuracy.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must possess time management skills and be able to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities to perform the job duties.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily indoors. Lighting is artificial. Equipment used includes standard office equipment i.e. computer, fax machine, telephone, printer, and copy machine. Physical demands include sitting, repetitive use of hands, grasping, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Hours and days are primarily Monday through Friday with a hybrid schedule of being in the office Tuesday through Thursday. The position requires close contact with all Meyer employees, outside vendors, and customers.

$18 - $20 per hour, DOE
