Who You Are
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage terminology, processes, and procedures, including all related real estate regulatory compliance.
- Professional and well-developed communication skills and phone etiquette to work cooperatively with members, co-workers, prospective clients, and associates in the mortgage industry.
- Intermediate mathematical experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must. Self-motivated, analytical and detail oriented.
- Ability to organize and prioritize to meet numerous deadlines and adapt to changes in workflow.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to members, other employees of the credit union and outside parties.
- Acts as a liaison with core processor and mortgage-related software.
- Knowledgeable and maintains connectivity for all 3rd party vendors that connect to the LOS or are used by the mortgage team such as, but not limited to Optimal Blue, Docusign and appraisal vendors.
- Works with construction loan borrowers post-closing during the construction phase on draws and inspections. Completes modification from construction phase to perm financing.
- Troubleshoot any system and or computer issue.
- Associates or Certification in IT/System Support preferred but not required.
- Some experience in Mortgage and/or an IT system support role.
- Some experience with system conversions preferred.
- Highschool diploma or GED.
