We are currently recruiting for a Systems Administrator.
What You Will Do In The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Systems Administrator.
What You Will Do In The Position
- Manages and resolves daily support tickets using an ITIL ticketing system.
- Monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains IT infrastructure across Windows, cloud, and virtual environments.
- Documents solutions and contributes to the knowledge base.
- Applies security patches, anti-virus updates, and follows cybersecurity best practices (NIST, SOC2).
- Supports remote and hybrid users, including endpoint management and cloud applications.
- Participates in automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborates with network, security, and desktop support teams.
- Travels to remote sites as needed; occasional after-hours work required.
- Qualifications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to explain procedures in writing or verbally; strong phone skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions well.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and their commands/utilities at a user level.
- Ability to edit files, use basic utilities and commands, navigate the file system, install software on workstations, and use I/O redirection.
- Understanding of user authentication in a directory service context.
- Ability to identify and locate shared resources, manipulate jobs in a print queue, and resolve network file system issues.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist with network device configuration.
- Knowledge of IT security controls and guidelines.
- Experience
- 1+ years of experience in technical customer support, computer operations, system administration, or related area.
- Experience supporting a Microsoft Azure environment along with supporting remote users and cloud-based applications is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise networking tools and monitoring platforms (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, New Relic) is preferred
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Travel: 5%
