Production Lead

The Production Lead is accountable for assisting in directing a team of operators in the production of LiFePo energy storage products. The Production Lead is responsible for assisting in achieving daily production goals, providing innovative ideas to continually build result driven skill sets within the team. The Production Lead will be reporting to the Production Supervisor. This role is based in Henderson, NV, Lithion Battery Inc at our Cassia location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of operators toward production goals and metrics as outlined by Production Manager/Supervisor
• Evaluate line flow/efficiency and report breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
• Update and monitor manufacturing productivity records.
• Train and supervise new employees on best practices including accountability to all operators on internal policies including Safety and Quality
• Evaluate and report inefficiencies to reduce scrap.
• Achieve and maintain a strong working knowledge of each process on the line.
• Ensure Training Matrix is up to date and assisting Production Supervisor in directing training.
• Perform other duties outside their scope of work as assigned and required.
  
  

Qualifications & Key Compentencies

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year experience as a manufacturing Lead
• Knowledge of production processes in a related industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and office software.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Great communication and collaboration skills
