Summary

Supports project tasks for the Packaging Services group. The Associate Project Manager will be aligned with a group of Project Managers that they will support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Review/Maintenance/Release of project planned work orders in QAD for accuracy, timing and completeness.

Assist in resolving project issues as they arise and provide alternative solutions to problems.

Support Project Managers by completing the following:

  • Change Control Drafting/Implementation/Closeout
  • Bill of Material Drafting/Routing
  • Shipping Requirement Form for Samples and Finished Goods Drafting/Routing
  • Annual Product Report Form Submission to Compliance
  • Specification Support
  • Master Packaging Record Drafting/Routing
  • Structure/Router Support
  • Manufacturer/Registration License Assistance
  • Lot and Expiration Form Drafting
  • Shipping Requirements Document Support
  • Serialization Documentation Assistance

Manage internal projects that support continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Tasks As Required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college/university or at least three to five years related and documented experience and/or training in a related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Project. Familiar with ERP systems.
