Medical Precharter

We are seeking a dedicated Precharting Specialist! This position plays a key role in preparing patient charts ahead of scheduled provider visits. This includes reviewing patient records, updating relevant health data, and ensuring the chart is complete and ready for clinical review. A strong understanding of electronic health records (EHRs), medical terminology, and independent time management is essential.

Core Responsibilities:

• Open and prepare notes for provider visits including:
• Physical Exams (PE)
• Video visits
• Follow-ups
• Pre-operative evaluations
• Well Child (WC) visits
• Established Care appointments
  
• Verify completion of lab tests and imaging results
• Reconcile and incorporate outside information (e.g., consult notes)
• Access and understand data via Care Everywhere or similar EHR tools
• Update the Problem List in the patient record
• Update and manage Care Gaps
• Review and record vaccination history
• Pull lab results from Quest and Labcorp
• Complete House Call encounters as applicable
• Maintain a productivity rate of at least 45 notes per 8-hour shift with a high level of accuracy
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. This position is in-office only.
  
  
  

Compensation:

• Starting range is $19-$20 per hour, depending on experience.
