As a Sales and Event Manager, you will be the key point of contact for our guests seeking to host private events and special occasions. Your role will involve managing the planning and execution of these events, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. You will work closely with clients, out culinary team, and front-of-house staff to deliver personalized and exceptional service that exceeds expectations. You will be the driving force behind the growth of our private dining and event business.
You will proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of event clients, forge meaningful relationships within the community, and serve as a dynamic brand ambassador for our restaurant group. This role requires a results-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be the primary liaison between clients and the hospitality group, understanding their needs and preferences to create customized event experiences.
Develop long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, concierge teams, and community organizations to drive repeat business and referrals.
Oversees all phases of event sales, including initial proposal and contract development, menu planning, day of operations and final execution.
Maximize revenue opportunities by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across locations, customizing offerings to suit client needs, while exceeding sales targets.
Prepare and manage event budgets, including cost estimates and final invoicing.
Work closely with the operations and culinary team and other departments to ensure that all event details are executed to the highest standards.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the planning and execution of events.
Track and report on event performance, client feedback, and sales metrics to help inform future strategies.
Attend industry networking events, tradeshows, and community functions as the face of the restaurant group, reinforcing our brand identity and values.
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in private dining coordination, catering, or sales within the hospitality industry.
Background in hospitality, event planning, or related field preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional services.
Experience in sales or business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Ability to work evening, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
Pay:
$45,000 - $55,000 + Commission/Bonuses.
