About The Role
As a Gov Contracts Manager at Quindar, you will be responsible for managing government contracts throughout their full lifecycle—ensuring compliance, negotiating terms, supporting proposals, and helping mitigate risk. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders (program teams, legal, finance), partners, and external customers to ensure contracts are managed efficiently, transparently, and in line with federal regulations.
You are the only person on the team so you must feel comfortable with ambiguity but you will have the ability to lead and grow your team. You’ll be someone who can manage the full process and is VERY organized, detail-oriented, and can move quickly while ensuring high compliance standards. Your work will help set the foundations for scalable growth in the government side of our business.
What You’ll Do
As a Gov Contracts Manager at Quindar, you will be responsible for managing government contracts throughout their full lifecycle—ensuring compliance, negotiating terms, supporting proposals, and helping mitigate risk. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders (program teams, legal, finance), partners, and external customers to ensure contracts are managed efficiently, transparently, and in line with federal regulations.

What You’ll Do
- Manage government contracts (and subcontracts) across different types: fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, time & materials (T&M), other transactional authority, indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ), etc.
- Support Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, MOUs, and issuing RFPs
- Support preparation of contract proposals, including working with teams to define scopes, cost models, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate contract terms and modifications.
- Review contracts and ensure they meet regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirements.
- Maintain full audit files for each contract: original contracts, modifications, amendments, clarifications, changes, deliverables, payment schedules, etc.
- Provide summaries and briefings on contract status, obligations, and risks to internal stakeholders (program managers, executives).
- Lead contract close-out activities.
- Support subcontracts: negotiating, managing performance, ensuring compliance.
- Provide contractual guidance and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and relevant technical / program teams.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle contract management under FAR/DFARS
- Experience managing contracts of multiple types (FFP, CPFF, OTA, T&M, IDIQ, SBIR, etc.).
- Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal), especially for summarizing contract risk & obligations.
- NCMA Certifications (CFCM, CPCM, CCCM) or other contract management certifications.
- Experience with export controls, ITAR, or Title 50 (if your work touches sensitive/intelligence domains).
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Experience with Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs).
- Graduate degree in relevant field.
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
- 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.
