JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE:
The role of Service and Solutions Sales is to organize and grow service and software maintenance sales for the service department. Primary responsibilities for this position include maximizing company profits within an allocated geography by selling to existing Beacon Communications customers and acquiring new business and/or clients. This includes assisting in coordinating/ managing sold solutions with the service and operations departments. It may involve the coordination of third-party contractors or consultants to deliver solutions according to plan. The salary range for this role is between $75,000 - $150,000, commensurate on relevant education, experience, and other job related factors. In addition, this position has an auto allowance of $600/month.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Selling to new and existing Beacon customers within Mid-West territory.
- Creating and executing a service sales plan that meets or exceeds set sales targets.
- Optimizing and maximizing time and overall efficiency.
- Ongoing contact with customers in the Beacon sales territory to continuously understand their evolving needs.
- Educating customers on Beacons entire line card offering.
- Expanding customer understanding and use of Beacon product and service capabilities.
- Identifying and pursuing new customer acquisition opportunities in the Beacons Sales territory.
- Conducting cold calls to acquire new customers in assigned sales territory.
- Building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers.
- Championing Beacon value proposition in the Beacon sales territory and brand within the local community.
- Being regularly available and responsive to customers real-time needs.
- Identifying and executing local marketing activities to enhance local presence and grow sales.
- Assist with and organize current/active Service Agreements for the company.
- Follow all processes and procedures in accordance with the company standards to ensure that a quality product is maintained and delivered within the predetermined time and cost.
- Be the forerunner in assuring customer satisfaction by meeting customers expectations.
- Work with service and pre-con to prepare requests for proposals and conduct all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of services and products.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing managed services proposals and estimates.
- Effectively communicate relevant service and project-related information to the company or customer in a timely manner.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Assist in conducting quarterly reviews with customers to assess overall service needs, calls and response times.
- Serve as a point of contact for all managed services customers.
Required
- Experience with Service and system integration solutions.
- Willingness to interface with customers as well as internal team members.
- Familiarity with Nurse Call, Security, AV, and structured cabling solutions.
- Continually develop and upgrade a diverse skills portfolio, with a focus on technical sales, and business operations.
- Experience with enterprise software/hardware solutions and workflow for large, complex healthcare and commercial organizations.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.
- Ability to drive lead generation through marketing and sales tactics.
- Understanding of CRM tool is desired.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
- Strong ability to present in front of a group and conduct negotiations with new and existing clients.
- College Degree desired or equivalent sales experience.
- On the job experience and training may substitute as equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Requires prolonged sitting, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input.
- Occasionally lifts and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Must maintain a valid drivers license.
- Must maintain a clear background check to satisfy customer jobsite badging requirements.
- Must be willing to submit to all vaccinations and screening tests required for customer jobsite badging protocol.
- Maintain a clear drug and alcohol screening protocol.
- 20-30% travel requirement, as needed.
