The right candidate will be a skilled relationship-builder who can translate vision into actionable plans, keep projects moving forward, and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple cross-departmental projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and resources.
- Drive IT-related initiatives from concept through execution, partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Achieve the appropriate balance of “getting stuff done”, adhering to structured project management approaches, and maintaining positive organizational relationships.
- Build and maintain project charters, project plans, budgets, and status reports, communicating clearly with all involved.
- Coordinate resources across departments, balancing priorities and creating pathways for successful outcomes.
- Facilitate collaborative conversations that invite input, foster ownership, and encourage problem-solving.
- Proactively identify risks, barriers, and dependencies, offering solutions and adjustments as needed.
- Contribute to program management governance processes ensuring cross-project alignment with organizational strategy and goals.
- Support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through thoughtful reflection and feedback.
- Ensure that project outcomes are achieved including scope, budget and timeline while upholding the mission and values of Conscious Discipline.
Where You Shine
- Experience: 5 years' experience in technical project management or combination of technical project management, systems implementation, and\or IT business analysis.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to see both the big picture and the critical details.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work across teams and departments, fostering positive relationships and shared ownership.
- Communication: Clear and empathetic communicator with the ability to tailor messages to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mindset: Flexible, solutions-oriented, and committed to reflective practices that support growth and resilience.
- Tools: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar) and comfort working with IT systems and platforms.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications a plus.
