CAD Drafter

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Corvallis, OR that is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafter to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting parts and creating accurate technical drawings based on project requirements. This role involves managing documentation, performing field verification, and supporting document management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Execute drafting projects as assigned by project leads or management
• Manage and maintain facilities documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility
• Create and update multidiscipline technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Conduct field verification to validate existing conditions and incorporate findings into drawings
• Develop and maintain CAD tool blocks for efficient drafting processes
• Perform document discovery and establish structured organization within Document Management Systems (DMS)
• Generate and maintain documentation related to drafting activities and project deliverables
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with AutoCAD in a professional setting
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Familiarity with Document Management Systems (DMS) and document organization practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as a self-starter
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
