Job Overview
Adam Roe Painting, Inc. is looking for a personable, technically savvy Direct-to-Owner Estimator to join our rapidly growing DTO Division. This division focuses on high-quality residential and light commercial projects-including interior/exterior repaints, cabinet refinishing, epoxy garage floors, and light tenant improvements. As a DTO Estimator, you'll play a dual role: trusted advisor and deal-closer. You'll guide homeowners and business owners through every step of the estimating process-building value, customizing solutions, and securing new business with accuracy and confidence.
This is a full-time, client-facing role offering growth, autonomy, and support in a team-first, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Rapidly respond to inbound leads and schedule estimate appointments
- Conduct on-site evaluations, documenting scope, materials, prep, and safety needs
- Present proposals in real-time when possible or deliver polished written quotes within 24 hours
- Build estimates in Paint Projex software (training provided) with detailed scope and optional upgrades
- Offer and explain financing options via Hearth
- Consistently follow up using a proven 1/3/7/14 cadence until job is won or lost
- Seamlessly hand off approved work orders to production, ensuring complete scope clarity
- Collaborate with production and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction
- 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial painting estimation preferred
- Deep knowledge of prep methods, paint products, and application techniques
- Strong client-facing communication and active listening skills
- Ability to explain project pricing, value, and financing options with clarity and confidence
- Organized and disciplined in CRM usage and follow-up execution
- Familiarity with Paint Projex or similar estimating tools a plus (training provided)
- Tech-savvy with mobile apps, email communication, and digital photo documentation
- Valid driver's license required
- Coachable, team-oriented, and aligned with ARP's ethical standards-no side hustles
