Description

We’re looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced medical office. You’ll support physicians and patients through hands-on care, clinical tasks, and administrative support.

Medical Assistant Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned)

• Welcome and prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Take vitals, update EMR, assist with minor surgeries and in-office procedures
• Perform basic podiatric care (nail care, callus removal, diabetic shoe fitting)
• Process prescriptions, insurance verifications, and patient education
• Conduct X-rays, manage lab specimens, and maintain supplies/instruments
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation
  
  

Medical Assistant Required Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Medical Assistant program completion OR 1+ years of clinical experience
• CMA or RMA certification preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  
  

Medical Assistant Pay Ranges

• $20-$23/hr based on experience
