Maintenance Director

We are currently accepting applications for a Maintenance Director within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

Requirements

• Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, building codes, safety regulations and blueprint interpretations, generators and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
• Experience in a supervisory capacity
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of elementary education, able to read, write, and follow oral and written instruction
• Must pass background and drug screen
• Excellent communication skills in dealing with residents, sponsors, visitors, and staff
• Positive attitude towards the elderly
  
  

Essential Job Functions

• Plan, develop and direct the Maintenance Department, as well as assist in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, discipline and discharge of maintenance personnel. Forecast needs for the department and maintain a level of maintenance supplies.
