Position Summary
**Nutrition Specialist - University of Dayton School of Education & Health Sciences**
Join the University of Dayton, a top-tier Catholic research university where purpose meets profession! Our Bombeck Family Learning Center seeks a passionate Nutrition Specialist responsible for planning, preparing, ordering, and dispersing nutritious meals for the children who attend the center ages 6 weeks to 6 yrs. This also includes abiding by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) regulations and keeping record of and ordering meals, snacks and consumption of milk for the program.

- High School Diploma.
- ServSafe Certification.
- Knowledge of nutritional requirements for children 6 weeks through 6 years.
- Ability to organize and efficiently prepare food, maintain the kitchen, and do laundry.
- Keep updated on meal patterns and any changes in requirements from the food program.
- Effectively plan meals for the menu for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special diets.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with other staff members.

- Knowledge of CACFP Program 1 year experience as a Nutrition Specialist or Cook for an early childhood program.
