Snapshot of the Role

As an Account Manager with Husco, you are responsible for sales efforts in the global automotive marketplace by developing and maintaining an ever-improving relationship with assigned accounts. You will serve current accounts and gain new business through lead generation and relationship management. You will often serve as a technical liaison and ensure that all customers are served expeditiously and professionally.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Strong Product Knowledge: Develop an intimate understanding of Husco’s products and our customer applications and systems. This may include electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical components that maximize fuel efficiency, driving performance and vehicle safety.
  • Voice of the Customer: Responsible for being the conduit between customers and Husco. Listen to customer asks and concerns, identifying and communicating to the appropriate people to ensure quick resolution.
  • New Business Development: Responsible for calling on new customers, investigating new opportunities, and for identifying and presenting potential sales revenue opportunities for Husco.
  • Cost File & Quotation Development: Responsible for ensuring key members of Husco understand the applications and time constraints for critical functional groups to compile formal cost information. Responsible for finalizing and reviewing the cost model and quotation and working closely with management to develop appropriate customer pricing.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience with technical, customized products, preferably in the Automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of how to generate leads, network, prospect, and cold call. Experience selling direct to OEM’s is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to inform others concerning risks and rewards while participating in decision-making and create compelling and effective presentations.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with outstanding energy, determination, and judgement.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 35% domestically and internationally.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
