Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekends
Unit Details: Level 2 Trauma facility with a comprehensive stroke center and advanced cardiac/open heart program admitting ICU and CVICU patients.
Equipment Used on Unit: GE monitors
Required Skills/Experience: Surgical ICU, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/acute renal failure, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IVs, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, hypothermia protocol, Assist with management of CPAP/BiPAP, care of ventilated patient, HFNC, interpretation of ABGs, suctioning, ventilator management, infection prevention, isolation precautions, surgical wounds with drains/wound vac
Types of Patients on Unit: Adults
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CHF, MI/Cardiomyopathy, Sepsis/Shock, Donor Services, Neurosurgical patients/Lumbar drain/bolts/Ventric drains/ICP monitoring/BIS monitoring, Stroke Trauma, CABG/Impella/IABP/chest tubes, Bedside procedures (TEE’s, Trachs), ECMO, Hemodialysis/CRRT, Pneumonia and Respiratory Failure, Covid/H1N1 DKA
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - 1 required for submission

Experience
- 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- Must have at least 22 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
- Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
- Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
