W3Global is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Controller to lead and manage the financial operations across our growing portfolio of companies. This role is based in Frisco, Texas, and will play a critical part in ensuring financial integrity, supporting scalable growth, and driving operational efficiency across all business entities. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting and finance, particularly within the staffing, consulting, or IT services industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting functions across multiple entities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll operations
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including balance sheet management and monthly/quarterly/annual close processes
  • Support compliance activities in coordination with external advisors and internal stakeholders
  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to senior leadership to guide business decisions and improve financial performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and executive teams to enhance financial accuracy and process efficiency
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline reporting and enhance data accuracy
  • Utilize tools such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) to perform financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting/finance leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, AR/AP, payroll administration, and financial reporting
  • In-depth understanding of state and local tax regulations, with demonstrated experience ensuring compliance with multi-state tax reporting, filings, and payments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications (required)
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
  • Experience with accounting and payroll platforms such as QuickBooks and ADP (or similar systems) is preferred
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with a hands-on approach to financial management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing financial operations for multi-entity or global organizations
  • Familiarity with healthcare staffing or regulated industries
  • Demonstrated ability to scale financial operations in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
