WHAT YOU GET TO DO (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and related duties for the organization and its subsidiaries, including non-routine transactions.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop the billing schedules that align with project contract requirements, including reimbursements.
  • Create and send customer invoices and monitor collections.
  • Ensure all vendor invoices are properly entered in the ERP software, coded, approved and paid timely.
  • Organize and lead monthly project review meetings to discuss the status of performance and projections.
  • Oversee operational accounting duties such as new customer and vendor setup, project set-up, job close-out, reporting, etc.
  • Support development team with insurance and risk reviews, while working w/ the Corporate Risk Management team.

Transactions

  • Prepare and maintain financial models and project controls for internal forecasting Boldt Holdings P&L and cash flow by project, including distributions.
  • Maintain project data and milestones for active projects to ensure the accuracy of WIP percent complete forecasts, as well as the pipeline to forecast financial results and cash needs / availability.
  • Prepare annual budget and presentations to Corporate including risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with business development to prepare and report on 3-Year Forecast, including risks and opportunities.
  • Manage transaction closings.

What We Expect From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Public accounting experience and CPA considered a plus.
  • Seven or more years of relevant accounting or finance experience required, experience in real-estate or construction preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, general ledger accounting and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently but also collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High-level attention to detail and strong organization skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of Boldt Holdings or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to optimally communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds. The working conditions of this position require the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $92,600 to 121,133 per year. This range represents what Boldt Real Estate reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to: candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, alignment with market data and internal equity as well as other business and organizational needs. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work at our Milwaukee, WI office. If the incumbent works out of a different location, the anticipated salary range is subject to change.
