Typical work involves greeting clients and performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties involving all functions of a Customer Service Center supporting the Preventive Health Clinic, which includes family planning, immunizations, and sexual health services.Â

  • Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently.Â
  • Greets and actively assists patients from culturally diverse backgrounds.Â
  • Processes patients in and out of the clinic by registering them into our system and later, checking them out.Â
  • Provides appropriate information and a positive environment for all patients.Â
  • Performs all clerical duties needed to maintain efficiency of daily operations of the Preventive Health Clinic at the Lentz Public Health Center.Â
  • Enters laboratory reports into electronic database management system.Â
  • Maintains patient charts in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and consistency.Â
  • Collects, processes, and records of financial information and transactions for fees collected.Â
  • Orders, tracks, and distributes supplies as directed.Â
  • Composes letters, memorandums, notices, and related documents.

Minimum QualificationsÂ

High School Diploma and three (3) years of clerical/administrative experience. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office is required.Â
