Job Summary/Purpose
As a Data Analyst in the Distribution Control Technology group, you will be responsible for performing a diverse range of data analyses utilizing datasets from across the company including but not limited to AVEVA Process Information (PI), Maximo, GIS, outage management, and data lakes. This position will require you to work under the general supervision of supervisors, project managers, or managers to help identify trends and provide business insights that inform the Distribution Technology decision-making processes.

Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience.
Desired: Master's Degree.

Analyst I - 0-2 years of professional experience
Analyst II - 2-4 years of professional experience
Analyst III - 4-6 years of professional experience.
Analyst Sr - At least 6 years of professional experience.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Create and maintain distribution equipment monitoring reports from device SCADA statuses.
- Assist engineering team with the development of reliability reporting of SCADA devices.
- Establish device reliability impact and SAIFI/SAIDI improvement.
- Develop reporting for Grid Technology business cases and program benefits.
- Manage Grid Technology Sharepoint site.
- Leverage Maximo’s backend to support project management updates and work order tracking for device deployment activities.
- Develop scripts and queries using SQL, VBA, and Python to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and APIs, to support business operations and decision-making processes.
- Utilize AWS for cloud-based script development.
- Ability to leverage AI (Artificial Intelligence) and data analytics tools to explore use cases for applying AI to system data in a laboratory environment.

- Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools: Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other similar software is preferred.
- The ability to effectively communicate complex data analysis to non-technical stakeholders is crucial for success in this position.
- Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group.
