Tessera is seeking a skilled and professional Work Manager with a team-oriented attitude.

Typical Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Under the guidance of the Site Manager and in collaboration with key project personnel, help define and improve the E2E work and asset management process. Supervise and train Production Control Clerks and other personnel on this process.
  • Oversee work orders and projects from receipt to completion leveraging the Maximo system – including new work receipt, shop assignment, warranty validation, status, comments, liability, completion, ArMA/GFEBS integration, and closure. Prepare workload, client, deliverables and other reports, check material status and requisitions, and support planning and scheduling processes as needed.
  • Oversee asset data leveraging Maximo system – including ensure accurate inventory, new asset entries, asset updates, integration with SMS BUILDER and GFEBS, PM assignment (PM, Job Plan, Inspections), PM generation and tracking, and other aspects.
  • Oversee the warranty program – ensure warranty data is added to SKUMAX and warranty issues are properly identified, tracked and completed.
  • Perform more advanced tasks but will fill in as a Production Control Technician as needed given shift schedules, leave periods and peak periods.
  • Ensure timely and effective DPW and customer communications including both routine and emergency work. During working hours, ensure all incoming emergency work has a designated functional leader.
  • Support the Site Manager in refining the shop scheduling process – ensure planning, PM level loading (using scheduling tool), material, and shop availability are integrated to optimize execution wrench time.
  • Identify requirements and improve both internal and client facing reporting requirements including contract reports, internal reports, and automated alerts. Ensure all key reports and deliverables are provided to DPW per contract – including leveraging PowerBI dashboards.
  • Coach, mentor, and resolve employee concerns in a respectful and mutually beneficial manner.
  • Operate integration scripts (RPA) for client system integration.
  • Supervise employees to ensure efficient use of time, performance, and understanding of work tasks.
  • Provide Shop Supervisors and Foremen with accurate data as required.
  • Manage the Production Clerk team responsible for E2E work processing including integration with client systems leveraging both automation and manual entry. Work with shops and DPW, responsible for asset inventory, core data, and advanced data capture. This includes alignment of PMs, Job Plans, and inspections. Meet key performance and contract objectives.
  • Lead and support positive safety performance at Ft. Bragg through focused attention on systems and culture. Working knowledge of safety regulations and requirements for facilities maintenance activities. Inspire safety performance through own safety behaviors and values.

Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and Maximo.
  • Must possess a valid CAC card.
  • Previous experience in maintenance production control and/or maintenance supervision including materials and planning integration is required.
  • Must possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in operations, maintenance management, and CMMS experience is preferred.

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
