Position Overview

Formerra is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Marketing Specialist to support our sales and marketing teams in driving growth across target industries. This role is responsible for identifying high-potential applications and prospects, managing lead pipelines, and executing targeted campaigns that enhance outreach and engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of research and analytical skills, marketing automation experience, and a passion for uncovering new opportunities to help Formerra expand its reach and deliver value to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Research new applications for growth potential in target industries and find companies that fit Formerra’s ideal customer profile.
  • Support sellers by identifying key contacts at customer and prospect accounts and developing customized messaging templates to enhance the efficiency of outreach efforts.
  • Support execution of marketing emails, nurture programs, and event/webinar communications.
  • Build and maintain segmented contact lists for campaigns and customer communications.
  • Pipeline Management: Track and document all interactions with leads (e.g., website visits, emails, calls) to understand their needs and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads and to optimize the conversion process.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of campaigns, and improve lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the lead management process, working with teams to define and implement best practices and processes.
  • Analyze and report on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to inform business decisions and marketing strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably for a B2B company, with an emphasis on market research and lead generation
  • Exposure to marketing automation, lead management, database management, and/or sales enablement workflows. Experience with Salesforce.com and Pardot/Account Engagement is a plus
  • Familiarity with research and analytics platforms (D&B Hoovers, Excel, Tableau, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Understanding of lead generation metrics including Click-through rates (CTR), impressions, conversion rates.
  • Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly sales and product management.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid : This role follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office presence required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are designated as remote workdays.

  • Work Hours : Standard office hours apply, typically between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
  • Travel Requirements : Willingness to travel up to 10% for trade shows or team gatherings.
