Eco-Products is a part of the Novolex family of brands. Novolex is a leader in packaging innovation, choice and sustainability. We manufacture products in paper, plastic and sustainable materials for food, retail, health and industrial markets.

This is a hybrid (remote/in-office) position.

  • $80,000 to $110,000 yearly base salary plus bonus opportunity.

  • The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform The Role

The Product Analyst is responsible for using data, customer insights, competitive information and market trends to develop actionable product portfolio and innovation plans. Reporting to the Director of Product Development, this role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and Product Managers to manage products as they progress through their product lifecycle. The Product Analyst will report and track performance and execution of product categories across the organization.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain analytical and data visualization tools that support the Product Team in identifying new product opportunities and managing products throughout their lifecycle
  • Gather feedback from sales and customers, evaluate market trends and create a competitor analysis that informs product portfolio decisions, such SKU rationalization or new product development
  • Maintain database of product specifications and across all product categories, ensuring new products are supported with technical data sheets and drawings
  • Support RFP’s by creating a product matching database that tracks how our products map to competitor options
  • Lead item setup, factory setup and compliance and other tasks as assigned in customer data portals


Product Development tasks

  • Manage product development process including project management, product approval, and product set-up for products within assigned market segments
  • Oversee product testing or collection of testing results for beginning and end-of-life certifications in assigned product categories
  • Manage new supplier onboarding process including gathering and evaluating factory certifications, collecting product specifications and formulations and documenting supplier QC process


What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or Data Analytics field, MBA a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data science, research and development, product marketing, category management or new product development
  • Strong, proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights; Expertise in data tools such as Power BI a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights, market trends, and competitive dynamics
  • Demonstrated success managing all stages of the product lifecycle
