Scheduled Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None


Position Summary: Gain foundational skills in systems, processes, and support functions. Responsible for assisting the Parts Department with sales order and purchase order follow ups, returns, order acknowledgments, e-store updating and some entry level quoting


Responsibilities/Duties:

  1. Responsible for assisting the parts team with the sales of HCS products, equipment, and services.
  2. Use NetSuite reports to follow up on open sales orders, and purchase orders
  3. Follow up on open RAs and RMAs
  4. Assist with E-store pricing and product updates.
  5. Enter entry level estimates and sales orders.
  6. Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
  7. Use NetSuite and Equipment Manufacturers Sales Tools to retrieve customer information, product information, the status of purchase orders, and to make changes on customer purchase orders.
  8. Work closely with order expeditors, inventory control, Hoosier Crane Warehouse and manufacturing regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments.
  9. Contact equipment manufacturers to meet customer's delivery requirements. Relay this information to the customer.
  10. Maintain files of active orders and post activity such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, and credit changes.
  11. Assist with Estimates that Need Follow-up
  12. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes of HCS.
  13. Complete required paper/computer work accurately and in a timely manner.
  14. Report to work as scheduled
  15. Work with the team as needed to ensure department hours are covered.
  16. Other duties as assigned


Abilities and Skills:

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills set.

• Able to work in a team environment and have high self-motivation.

• Positive attitude and willing to learn and grow

• Must be detail oriented and organized.

• Able to multitask and manage time well.


Background/Experience:

• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Experience with Netsuite (this is a plus but not required)

• Experience working in a sales environment for at least 1 year, preferred.


Promotion Requirements:

• <5% error rate on tasks for 3 consecutive months

• Complete Level 1 training checklist and pass NetSuite test

• <2 missed follow-ups per month

• Positive feedback from team/manager

• Recommendation from Level 2 Sales Staff or higher
