Retirement Plans Administrator Position Summary

Triune Financial Partners, LLC is a comprehensive Financial Planning and Retirement Plans Consulting firm based in Overland Park, KS. We are an SEC-registered, independent Registered Investment Advisory firm and a fiduciary.

Triune serves 401(k) & 403(b) plans across the country. Advisors & Staff work collaboratively to meet the needs of the organization sponsoring the plan as well as their employees. We coordinate communication between the organization, various service providers, and participants to ensure the plan runs smoothly. We also benchmark plan fees, monitor investment performance, and provide education and enrollment assistance for employees.

The primary role of a Retirement Plan Administrator (RPA) is to support our Retirement Plans team by preparing for client meetings and coordinating follow-up tasks. The RPA gathers plan data from plan service providers, runs reports, and ensures Advisors are prepared for meetings. They also communicate with employees to assist with common requests such as login help, enrollments, website changes, distributions, and assisting with rollovers. This is not a client-facing position, but there will be frequent phone and email communication with our clients.

Compensation for this role will be a salary plus bonus as follows:

  • Base Salary Range: $40,000 (no experience) - $60,000 (3 years previous 401k or equivalent financial industry experience)
  • Bonus of 0-10% of base salary, based on firm profitability and your development in areas noted above
  • Benefits include PTO, various insurances & a generous 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule and prepare RP client meetings.
  • Answer routine client questions and respond to service requests promptly, courteously and professionally.
  • Learn to trouble-shoot common issues and how to provide operational support.
  • Facilitate rollovers for plan participants from end-to-end.
  • Complete regular client database maintenance and data entry.
  • Completion of projects to support the RP team.
  • Develop and update procedures related to position and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Pass the RPA (Retirement Plan Associate) Designation within 6 months of employment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or a minimum of 1-2 years industry experience.
  • Proficiency with MS suite of products, (Outlook, Office, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Must be able to quickly learn and become proficient at our Tech Stack, including Salesforce, Calendly, various 401k/403b record keeping platforms, and others.
