Job Summary
Work closely with and assist engineers in the conduct of various engineering assignments.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
- Compete assigned tasks on time
- Gather and assemble data for engineers
- Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers
- Assist engineers with appropriate design details
- Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Other duties as assigned
Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application
- Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of embedded software for real-time control of advanced radio systems
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation
- Utilize a variety of software languages (C, C++, Java, Python, Bash) on linux and/or windows platforms
- High school diploma or GED
- Engineering student
