Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is looking for qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses for this position located in Santee, CA. Candidates will work in a Skilled Nursing Facility that provides long-term, 24-hr skilled nursing care for individuals.

Pay Rate: $40/hr + $500 start bonus paid after 250 hours of work

Locations:Santee, CA

Shifts: per diem. working 3p-1130p, 11pm-730am, 7am to 330pm

Job Duties

  • Patient Care: You will be responsible for providing direct patient care such as administering medication, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and helping with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Collaborating with other Healthcare Professionals: You will work closely with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, registered nurses, and physical therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Communication: You will communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that everyone is aware of the patient's care plan, progress, and any changes in condition.
  • Supervision: You may be responsible for supervising nursing assistants or other support staff to ensure that all patients receive proper care and that the facility runs smoothly.
  • Education: You may provide education to patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, and care instructions.
  • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: You will be expected to adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Qualification

  • Possession of a current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of California
  • A current certification in accordance with the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
  • One year of experience of Long Term Care or SNF experience
