Data Analyst – Sales

Poly-America, L.P. is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our sales team. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, and agricultural films.

As a Data Analyst you will work on a team that is responsible for managing top-tier retailer accounts. This position is responsible for extracting data from Scintilla and Circana and preparing reports for national customer accounts. The role will also involve maintaining and creating Excel spreadsheets to utilize internally for decision-making. This role may extend to include involvement in the day-to-day handling of customer accounts including, but not limited to, entering customer orders, conducting market research, and the execution of special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar.
• 2+ years of experience and skills with the following data software
• Scintilla
• Circana
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, vlookups, and VBA) is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Data Analysis, Data Entry, Data Modeling, and Database Management & Reporting.
• Identify trends and patterns in the business through data mining and analysis, and provide recommendations for business growth and efficiency improvements.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and reprioritize as shifting business needs require.
• Proactive, self-motivated individuals capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
