Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new development opportunities including land acquisition and market feasibility.
- Lead full project lifecycles: design, entitlement, permitting, construction (horizontal and vertical), and delivery.
- Ensure all projects comply with zoning, code, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and project scopes across multiple active communities.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams: architects, engineers, contractors, city officials, and sales agents.
- Build and maintain relationships with public and private investors; report regularly on project progress and ROI.
- Promote and implement sustainable development and community planning best practices.
- Innovate and optimize residential design and construction to enhance value and desirability.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in residential development or similar roles, with leadership responsibility.
- Deep knowledge of residential development cycles, land use, permitting, and financial modeling.
- Proficient in: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
