Job Summary

This role will support Vail Resorts’ corporate storytelling across external platforms. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Corporate Content Strategy, this position helps bring to life the voices and vision of our company through authentic digital content, executive thought leadership, and employee-generated content. It is a hands- on role for a communications professional who excels at developing creative content and executing programs that amplify our corporate narrative.

Job Responsibilities

  • Craft and publish executive thought leadership content—primarily on LinkedIn—with a focus on authentic voice and relevance.
  • Develop and launch original video content series that showcase executive perspectives, leadership priorities, and company values across internal and external channels.
  • Help launch and maintain an employee generated content (EGC) program, including enablement toolkits and curating standout stories.
  • Support CEO podcast production and promotion by repurposing episodes into short-form content.
  • Maintain a rolling, forward looking content calendar across corporate and executive channels.
  • Manage the company’s public website.
  • Oversee corporate award applications, including drafting submissions and coordinating with cross-functional partners to highlight company achievements.
  • Monitor content performance across external channels and proactively identify emerging trends to inform strategic optimizations and boost engagement.
  • Assist on other corporate thought leadership opportunities, such as speaking engagements, internally and externally.
  • On occasion, this role may be asked to support with media engagement.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years in corporate content creation and/or social media execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into compelling, audience- focused content that drives engagement across channels.
  • Strong writer with ability to capture executive voice.
  • Expert-level knowledge of emerging social media platforms and content trends — with a sharp eye for how corporate and executive brands can show up credibly.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage editorial calendars, production timelines, and approval workflows across stakeholders and on deadline.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), social publishing tools (e.g., Sprout Social), and creative production tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe).
  • Familiarity with analytic dashboards and performance optimization.
  • Strong collaborator who works well with others.

Year One Priorities And KPIs

  • Establish a scalable executive content program, with a focus on developing and publishing thought leadership for key leaders on LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
  • Build and launch an employee-generated content (EGC) framework, including toolkits, curation workflows, and metrics for participation and reach.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy aimed at improving corporate social media sentiment, leveraging executive visibility, employee voices, and timely, authentic storytelling.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
