The role
The Faculty Executive Team in Arts, Law & Social Sciences is looking to appoint a capable, committed and skilled administrator to be part of a vibrant and varied working environment delivering all aspects of administration and support to academic colleagues and visitors to the Faculty.
What will you be doing?
The role holder will provide general office support, working within a wider administrative tea. General duties would include:
We are seeking a reliable individual with a resilient, flexible and proactive approach to their work. You should apply if you have excellent IT, organisational, time management and communication skills.
You should have proven experience of working in an office or office/reception environment in a supporting role (administration, reception, secretarial etc.) and be educated to GCSE level or equivalent as outlined in the attached job description.
You must enjoy working in and contributing to the team and have strong customer care orientation and commitment to service quality, both on-line and in person.

What will you be doing?

- Acting as first point of contact for all Faculty enquiries.
- Supporting the preparation and organisation of in-person and on-line events, workshops, conferences or meetings.
- Organising and supporting staff travel bookings.
- Preparing and formatting of documents, ordering office supplies and reporting building or office maintenance faults.
- Providing finance support including purchasing office items.
