The Tucson Police Department is looking for a Data Engineer to support our data-driven public safety initiatives! This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their skills in data engineering while working on impactful projects that enhance community safety.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows for operational and analytical needs.
- Work with SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS) to manage data processing.
- Assist in integrating, cleaning, and optimizing data for reporting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with analysts, officers, and city departments to ensure efficient data access and analysis.
- Support data quality, governance, and security best practices.
