Job Summary
The Strategic Initiatives Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating strategic initiatives that align with the company’s long-term goals and objectives. This position will be essential in driving growth, efficiency, and innovation across different departments and teams. The Strategic Initiatives Coordinator collaborates closely with executives, managers, and key stakeholders to ensure successful planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic projects. This position requires a combination of analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. This role will work closely with and report to North Risk’s V.P. of Strategic Initiatives, and will involve close working relationships with members of North Risk’s IT Department and Learning & Development team.

The work environment is primarily indoors. Compensation And Benefits
The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 - $80,000 annually, plus benefits. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, ensuring project leads stay on track and meet established milestones and deadlines
- Aid project leads in requirements gathering and the development of detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements such as technology
- Facilitate regular meetings with project teams to monitor progress, address issues, and provide status updates
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the implementation of strategic initiatives
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, while promoting a unified approach towards achieving organizational goals
- Provide guidance and support to project leads in the execution of the project-related duties
- Support change management efforts associated with strategic initiatives, assisting in communication, training, and stakeholder engagement
- Anticipate potential resistance to change and develop strategies to overcome barriers
- Encourage a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to refine and enhance processes for better results
- Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous initiatives to enhance future projects
- Conduct thorough research and data analysis to support decision-making for strategic initiatives and help mitigate potential risks that may impact an initiative's success
- Support development of process models for workflows and automation with the goal of improving the North Risk Partners client and employee experience
- Support vendor assessments and contract negotiations as applicable
- Synthesize and present data in a clear and concise manner to assist in making informed strategic choices
- Monitor and contribute to the development of key performance indicators and other metrics to measure the success and impact of strategic initiatives
- Regularly prepare progress reports and present them to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
- A combination of education and experience generally attained through a bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 3+ years of active project coordination
- Proven experience in strategic planning is a plus
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Effective interpersonal skills; capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to respond to evolving priorities and challenges
- Applied change management experience is a plus, though not required
- Experience with lean concepts and workflow automation is a plus, though not required
- Insurance industry knowledge and experience is a plus, though not required
- Working knowledge of standard technology, including core Microsoft office products: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

- Apply manual dexterity, visual acuity and ability, for computer keyboarding, office equipment uses, review of detailed reports, information, fine print, and warning labels
- Must possess valid driver’s license and be able to travel to different North Risk Partners locations for meetings, as well as various locations throughout the state and potentially the region for client meetings
- Able to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, nights, and weekends to attend events and meetings as needed
